New modules in GE Healthcare’s Centricity™ Opera improve OR utilization and reduce cancellations

GE Healthcare’s Centricity™ Opera is a unique theatre management software solution that improves OR utilization, reduces non-medical cancellations, and supports a change management culture that can adjust to ongoing challenges related to the medical services backlog.

The solution can improve operating room utilization by up to 89%, thus increasing throughput when transitioning from paper. It provides clear visibility into case over-runs and early finishes, thus helping to prevent bottlenecks.

The OR Optimizer module manages multi-dimensional scheduling complexity, with predictive schedule management that enables operating on the right patient according to priorities.
